Team Dogs We train on a Sunday morning when we're not racing, near Blewbury in Oxfordshire. Our facilities are easily accessible, we have a toilet and tea and coffee making facilities - bring you own mug! Our training methods are very intuitive, and are reward based. We train without netting so even Starter dogs get used to running in open lanes Training sessions are varied between box work, individual runs, and team runs. We also use "Rocket Dogz" style training, using 8 jumps, to improve stamina and fitness. Starter dogs begin their box work on our specially made box which makes no noise, to avoid frightening them in the early stages of their training. We have box jumps of varying heights to encourage dogs to learn a good box turn - essential for avoiding injury and maintaining their speed across the course. Please contact us for more information |
